Siler Extract Powder
Siler contains 0.1% volatile oil and the components have 2-Methyl-3-buten-2-ol, Pentanal, α-Pinene, Hexanal, Pentanol, Hexanol, Octanal, Nonanal, Octanol, Acetophenone, 7-Octen-4-ol, Naphthalene, β-Bisabolene, Cuparene, β-Eudesmol. And the content of Octanal,β-Bisabolene and Hexanalare the highest. And siler also contains coumarins, such as Psoralen, Bergapten, Imperatorin and Phellopterin etc.
Siler extract powder is extracted from the siler root. The main active ingredient still exists in siler extract powder. So the raw material siler has the same funtion as siler extract powder.
Siler extract powder can be used as a kind of febrifuge. Through a testing on rabbits, the doctors learned that siler extract powder have a good effect on fever caused by mixed preparation typhoid, paratyphoid vaccine and tetanus toxins.
