Naringin;citrus aurantium extract;grapefruit extract
Naringin is the active ingredient of citrus aurantium extract and grapefruit extract.
At regular temperature, the solubility in water is 0.1%, 75 ℃ at up to 10%. Not soluble in non-polar solvents petroleum ether, ethyl ether, benzene and chloroform.
It is white to light yellow crystalline powder, belonging to flavonoids.
Naringin have the function of anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, anti-cancer, anti-mutagenic, anti-allergic, anti-ulcer, analgesic, hypotensive activity.

In alkaline conditions, after the oxidation processing, naringin can be obtained dihydrochalcone sweetener, its sweetness is 1000 times that of sucrose. Naringin and vanillin also can get new hesperidin, neohesperidin dihydrochalcone sweetness is 950 times that of dihydrochalcone sweetener, which is a non-toxic, the new generation of low-energy sweetener with high sweetness.
